Lo showdown annichilisce Le che vede il suo set di 5 sovrastato dal set di 10 di Hansen, il miracolo non avviene e Le deve accontentarsi della 5° piazza e di 395.725 dollari.

Mano 16; elimina Cory Carroll. Rilancia dal cutoff a 480.000 e viene rilanciato da Carroll che è nel big blind a 1,65 milioni. Hansen ci pensa è titubante sa che Carroll ha un bel po’ di fiches davanti a lui e che quindi lui potrebbe perdere una parte importante della sua puglia, ma decide comunque di coprire la puntata con 7 e 5 di quadri.
Flop QJ6 con due quadri, Carrol checks ed Hansen dopo qualche minuto passati a soppesare lo stack dell’avversario con la sua solita smorfia di disgusto va all in. La palla passa a Carroll che si ritrova a dovere decidere cosa fare uscire dal piatto ed accontentarsi dei quasi 5 milioni e rotti che gli rimangono o tentare la grande chiamata ed issarsi a 15 milioni straleader del tavolo. Pensa che ti ripensa, pensa che ti ripensa e pensa che ti ripensa e dopo svariati minuti opta per la grande chiamata. Carroll sconsolato esce in 4° posizione, $593,645 il suo gettone.

Mano 22; elimina John Roveto. Roveto sul bottone va all in (quasi 2 milioni), Hansen dallo small blind con A 10 lo copre. Roveto mostra KK deve solo sperare che i suoi K tengano, il flop J 9 8 aumenta le sue preoccupazioni che ora oltre che dagli assi deve guardarsi anche dai 7 e dalle donne, il turn 6 non modifica la situazione, ma il river 7 sbatte Roveta fuori dal gioco in terza posizione con $923.355 vinti.
